Inconclusive results
Why a check can be inconclusive and what we do about it.
An inconclusive result means Lead QA could not complete a reliable verification. Common causes:
- Bot challenge or WAF HTTP 403
- Blocking cookie banner that cannot be dismissed safely
- Cross-origin iframe form that Playwright cannot enter
- Transient network or timeout at the edge of the deadline
Product rules
- Inconclusive runs do not advance the hard-failure streak
- They do not open failure incidents
- After several in a row you may get a soft “could not verify” notice
If the page is healthy for real users but we keep landing on a bot wall, report the run as a false positive so we can tune access-barrier detection.
